Life often hands us a deck of cards we don’t feel we deserve. We are more often than not ungrateful for the lessons we have to learn.
It’s mind boggling to see a silver lining or to have hope that things will or could be better.
Fear settles in and gives anxiety a place to live. Unjustifiable we cling to it as if it gives us the meaning of life. We allow ourself to believe that if we have control then it will be different.
The sad truth is that not much is in your control. People are going to behave the way they do and you will continue to react to the perceived injustice that is happening around you.
Take heart my friend. There is light at the other end. There is a place where you abandon your fear and embrace the unknown. Yes it’s scary yes it’s hard. But it is time to give anxiety it’s walking papers. It’s time to tell fear to leave. It’s time to believe that you are going to be ok.
Safety is also a perception so you have to look for that. Seek safety especially when fear begins to set in. Isolation will haunt you and maybe even taunt you in the tough times. Trust you are not alone and have a conversation.
