Day 17

Good morning

before you have a funky good time today at the bbq’s, pool parties, firework shows and the beach let’s remember what community is really about.

Think about it are you spending all your time with people who nickel and dime your friendship?! Are you spending time with people that feel you add value to their life without a commercial holiday planted in their work week?!?

What’s worth more than sitting at a party filled with people is sitting at a table filled with love. Today search for the love. Look for kindness, generosity, patience, and search for the hopeless give them a smile, an encouraging word, a piece of God who is in you.

Heavenly Father I pray as we prepare to enter today that we wholeheartedly search for opportunities to love in a bold new way. Help us find moments where we can safely embrace the concept of meeting people where they are not where we think they should be.

Father God please help us confess our sin to each other for healing not in prideful ways expecting people to take our side our pity us but to help sharpen one another in love with Your grace and mercy wrapped in our words.

ABBA help is become children that Your fingerprints are placed deeply on. Let us not be surface Christians but deep faith walking gospel living and loving children of God.

I pray for those who are striving but feel like they keep missing the mark. I pray for those who need things lined up a certain way to make sense. God I pray for those who think they got it but realize after they were off.

I pray for the controlled person and the one that always looses control. I pray for the people that are always on the middle because they don’t know or feel safe in that space.

I pray for EVERY person that is touched my this prayer I pray for them, for their family, their children born and unborn, I pray for their generational blood line to be completely washed free of any strongholds that are marked by Satan. I pray for provision for every gift and talent You have graciously given. I pray that pride, jealousy, envy, gossip, and all these things fall off of us.

I pray that You father step in and remove our default way of thinking that isn’t serving us and replace it with Your thoughts, Your ways, and Your Truth. I pray this and so much more in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
