Day 22

Good morning,

Have you ever been so in your own feelings about a situation that you miss everything God is doing?

I know I have. I know that I have been so stuck on an idea or concept of how the end should look I couldn’t see what God wanted or was doing in and around me.

After years of doing it my way and asking God to co-sign my way I decided to take a journey of surrender, sacrifice, humility, and correction. Yup, it’s a tall order for a short girl.

I believed deep in my heart that God’s divine guidance in my life would show God’s work in my life. I had to commit to doing it God’s way and trusting solely in God’s time.

In the beginning of my reunited relationship with God it was challenging. I was in but I was doubtful. I was obedient but I had a lot of questions. I didn’t understand. I wasn’t in a healthy community. I struggled like no ones business.

Yes it’s hard, yes I have to die to my own desires everyday, yes I experience disappointments and all things the flesh experiences. However, I serve a God that has bigger plans for me, bigger desires and a greater set up then I can ever have.

I began to learn that God’s work in me is only evident when I surround myself with people in community. This was and still is challenging for me.

I had to be willing to get vulnerable, I had to let go of my negative idea of what church community was and is.

I had to trust people which was and still is probably my biggest hurdle. I had to learn to love unconditionally not just others but myself also.

I HAD TO LEARN TO LOVE MYSELF. That might be where you are today.

It’s critical to stay super connected to God not just so you can carry out His vision according to His plan but to have a relationship with your creator.

Despite what you think about what is going on in your life God wants you. God loves you. God will use EVERYTHING from your broken and janky past to your come up which is ultimately for His glory.

Father God I am so grateful for who You are in our lives. I pray that we cling to You like vines on a tree. I pray that in and out of every situation we ever face we search for You.

We passionately surrender our hopes and dreams for Your divine purpose and will not just for us but for Your kingdom. Father God I lift up my community and ask You to walk with them closely. Speak clearly and confirm through community the plans You have.

Father as we enter a new season, a new chapter I pray that the opportunities set before us we are are able to see through heavens eyes. And that we are able to stay focused on Your master plan.

I pray that we stay in relationship with You. I pray father that we keep seeking You that we never believe that we are bigger than You or know more than You.

I pray for a humbled heart filled with love, peace, kindness, generosity, and purity with a kingdom building focus. Father God please help us continue to be the salt and light in places you have called us. Father God help us be vulnerable in community not for pity but so we can grow.

Father without You we are roaming aimlessly on this earth. We desire heavenly experiences here on earth thank You for including us in Your master plan.

We pray for those far from You and closes to You. We lift up leaders, teachers, preachers, and everyone in between for Your correction, Your direction, and Your will. We pray this and so much more in the mighty name of Jesus amen.
