Day 38

Good morning journey companion,

My prayer has been God drawer me closer to You and His desire for me is to draw closer to people. For me this is a struggle. For me I find it challenging to ‘do life’ with people.

I love the idea of community, I love the intentionality of being their for other people, I love community prayer, increased desire to know God’s word better as a community or small group.

I don’t love the idea of being vulnerable, transparent, authentic, and submerged in an environment that may show who I truly am. The likelihood of being hurt, disappointed, or even rejected are things that flash in my mind when God says ‘draw closer to my people’.

Until recently I had never view community as my earthly riches. I am realizing God’s million dollar story for me is sacrifice myself and stay in community. When I boldly asked God what does that look like He whispered something like ‘build my people I will build you’. Dang – I trust God so much I asked Him to show me what it looks like to build His people.

I sit here this morning telling you I think building people is just as challenging as building financial wealth. It has its moments where you think you have reached a ceiling and you will be in this forever. I am here to tell you that God has graced me to build community among His people . God has graced you to build something into community. God has called us to build community in our own lane.

Today as I ponder God’s original plan for each of us I am filled with gratitude that He chose one of His most broken daughters to walk through life connecting with people, sharing my stories, exposing myself in an authentic way highlighting His work in my life.

God chose me, God chose you. Today I feel like you – my journey companion needs to know God chose you. Yes it’s difficult, yes there is a a lot of unknown, yes there will be hurts, disappoint, rejection, offense, and the list goes on. I am going to tell you one simple truth But God’s love is sufficient. He is holding you, He has sent the Holy Spirit to help you do what He called you to. Don’t miss your calling because you are messed up in your own situations. There is someone out there that their salvation is hinges on your obedience.

Heavenly Father, I bring every journey companion I have now, have had in the past, and will have in the future before You.

I pray a generation blessing over them. I pray that their focus is built on Your promises, I pray that their faith increases, I pray that as they tell mountains to move in their life that they are standing on Your word. I pray that there is an abundance that is simply overflowing their territory.

I pray for my companions to be equipped with Your truth, love, grace, compassion, mercy, and self control. I pray that as they seek You they find themselves. I pray that ask we build Your kingdom in Unity that the world with be shaken not just with earthquakes but with an awakening of who God is.

I pray as we stay in the lanes You have created for us that we sharpen each other that we hold each other accountable that we don’t let human emotions prevent us from Kingdom building and having heavenly experiences right here on earth.

Father I pray so much, You see my heart, my truest desires are for Your people to know You in an intimate way. I pray we handle every situation with integrity and are open to correction.

Father God above my desires is Yours. Above my hopes and dreams of the future I place Your hopes and dreams for the future. Show us how to take the next step with boldness, confidence, conviction, perseverance, and tenacity. Father please remind us to rest in You always. Alone we can’t run this race. What You have graced us for You intend to help us with.

All these things and so much more I pray on the mighty name of Jesus amen.
